Your Coach

Ron Higgs is an executive coach who works with process- and data-driven engineers to transform them into effective people-focused, strategic, executive leaders who drive organizational success. 

Ron believes that effective leadership for engineers means bridging technical expertise with strong people skills-solving the right problems, building relationships, and inspiring teams to excel. A US Navy veteran and former Naval Flight Officer, he brings over 25 years of leadership, operations, program and engineering management experience across the military, startups, small businesses, and large corporations. 

He has coached engineers and executives at all levels, transforming them from specialized technical roles into people managers and strategic leaders. Notable results include guiding a senior aerospace engineer achieve their highest-ever performance rating and supporting a tech CEO through a successful acquisition.

Ron holds a BS in Mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MS in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a graduate certificate in Engineering Flight Test from the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School. He has received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and companywide honors at Boeing.

Outside of coaching, Ron enjoys traveling, snowboarding, spending time with friends and family, and exploring the outdoors.
